After beating breast cancer and healing a knee injury, I walked the Hainesport 12-hour endurance run, my 40th ultra, and placed 7th female.

Had I not fallen, I would not know I have breast cancer. This is the first blog post in my cancer journey - ductal carcinoma in situ.
