Before heading out to run my first 48-hr ultra at Across the Years, we had some great adventures at 4 national parks. Click on each link to see the fun we had at Carlsbad Caverns and White Sands national parks in New Mexico, Guadalupe Mountains national park in Texas, and Petrified Forest national park in Arizona.

At Across the Years, I celebrated my 61st birthday and ran healing miles for my husband Jon, who paced me the last 9 miles. He was still undergoing chemotherapy. I dedicated this ultra to him and his oncology and surgical teams. Here's the video he made.
